The Pregnancy Process

Pregnancy is a complex biological process that should not be taken for granted. It leads to perpetuation and diversity of species which leads to healthy competition. With the help of estrogen hormone a woman produces ova from her ovaries; which then move up to the fallopian tube where it fuses with the sperm to form an embryo. There are millions of sperms that compete to fuse with an ova but the first one to fuse forms the embryo. The rest are killed and removed from the woman’s body. During fusion X and Y chromosomes from the parents may fuse to form a male offspring; or X and X chromosomes from both sides will merge to form a female offspring. The chance of getting either a male or female child is half.

Once fusion has been completed the process of mitosis begins. This is where the embryo starts to grow through multiplication of cells. As cells increase in number the fallopian tube is stimulated to transfer the developing embryo to uterus. The uterus has strong walls which can support the embryo mass as it continues to grow. With time the child starts to develop distinctive organs which are used for different body functions. But the most vital organs such as the heart and brain are formed first then the rest follow.

In the womb an embryo is protected by amniotic sac which contains amniotic fluid. The fluid serves to cushion developing embryo from shock waves that may result from the mother’s movements. The gestation period of human beings is around nine months; but some people give birth prematurely due to their lifestyle or genetic predisposition. During child birth the walls of the uterus are stimulated to push the baby out of the womb. It is usually expected for a new-born to appear head first. When a child’s legs appear before the head; special medical intervention would be required because the head may be chopped off during childbirth if the delivery is not professional.

For a multi pane window, a smaller squeegee. Do not use rags even for smaller windows as they stain rather than cleaning your window.

Incases where windows have not been cleaned for a long period of time and stubborn stains are not being taken out by dishwashing solution, then heading to the store to buy something a bit stronger is best.

You can use cleaners with oxalic acid for tough stains.

Adverbs and How They are Used

An adverb is one of the eight parts of speech that make up the English language. They are used to modify other parts of speech, but they are not used to modify nouns. Rather, they are used when describing sentences, clauses, and adjectives as well as other adverbs. The purpose of an adverb is typically to answer a question such as “When?”, “Where?”, or “How?”. The adverb can also answer to what degree or in what manner. In the English language, the majority of adverbs end with the suffix “-ly”.

When an adverb is used to answer the question of “How?”, the word is most often created by adding the “-ly” suffix to an adjective. For example, “loud” can be made into “loudly” and “slow” can become “slowly”. It is important to remember, though, that not all words ending in “-ly” are adverbs. Words such as “friendly” or “lovely” are not adverbs because the root word is a noun and not an adjective. In addition, some adjectives do not need to have the suffix added. Examples of this include words like “holy” or “silly”. Sometimes adverbs can be also be formed by adding the suffix “-wise” or the prefix “a-”. Examples of these would be words like “clockwise” or “astray”. In some cases, there is no way to identify an adverb just by looking at how the word is formed.

Many people make the mistake of using adverbs too often. This is especially true when writing. As a rule, one should only use adverbs when they add something of importance to the sentence. Following are a few examples of correct adverb usage:

He is rarely late for work. (“Rarely” is the adverb.)

She frequently spends too much money. (“Frequently” is the adverb.)

We are going to the movies tomorrow. (“Tomorrow is the adverb.)
